The Origins of Human Beings According to Ancient Sumerian Texts

It is time to revisit Sumer and review their literature in light of our burgeoning understanding of the Atlantean world which emerged at least as early as 2400 BC as a fully operational global enterprise that created trade factories in the form of palace factories and if important enough with pyramids.  This golden age certainly represented at least another two thousand years of local development in several locations and a likely civilizational center in the Atlantean archipelago of Lyanese, Atlantis itself, Bahaman Bank, and Cuba all substantially uplifted from present levels by levels running up to at least a hundred meters if not substantially more.

As posted before the technology was Bronze Age but also well advanced using some methods as yet undiscovered.

Much has been made of the word God and this is confusing because our own interpretation of God is profoundly different than that of the writers of the ancient scriptures.

We have been conditioned to understand God as a non-material apparition yielding magical powers and to thus be dismissed as a child’s bed time story.  Yet the Egyptian Pharaoh was understood as a living god and we know that this idea persisted into deep Roman times as emperors themselves became gods.  Thus a strange people providing the Gods suddenly become a tribe of masters providing local rulers in much the same way as the British provided effective governors globally.  In a world of practical illiteracy, assigning god powers is excellent politics.

Thus we have an Atlantean world, establishing rulership everywhere as a matter of course and actively developing the material health of their godships.  This effective power was underwritten by a healthy trade in metals, mostly copper along with seaborne military power.  Remember the Seapeoples?  Also remember Helen’s thousand ships.  That was the real naval capacity of the Atlantean World.  It could deliver thirty thousand armed men anywhere in reach of a coast and several days of marching.

This was also before the advent of any form of horse nomad to tear up rich agricultural lands.

The origins of human beings according to ancient Sumerian texts

30 JANUARY, 2013 - 21:31 JOHNBLACK

Sumer, or the ‘land of civilized kings’, flourished in Mesopotamia, now modern-day Iraq, around 4500 BC. Sumerians created an advanced civilization with its own system of elaborate language and writing, architecture and arts, astronomy and mathematics. Their religious system was a complex one comprised of hundreds of gods, rites and cosmology. According to the ancient texts, each Sumerian city was guarded by its own god; and while humans and gods used to live together, the humans were servants to the gods.

The Sumerian creation myth can be found on a tablet in Nippur, an ancient Mesopotamian city founded in approximately 5000 BC.

The creation of Earth (Enuma Elish) according to the Sumerian tablets begins like this:

When in the height heaven was not named,
And the earth beneath did not yet bear a name,
And the primeval Apsu, who begat them,
And chaos, Tiamut, the mother of them both
Their waters were mingled together,
And no field was formed, no marsh was to be seen;
When of the gods none had been called into being,
And none bore a name, and no destinies were ordained;
Then were created the gods in the midst of heaven,
Lahmu and Lahamu were called into being...

It is interesting here to note that no one god is responsible for creation, as even gods are themselves part of the creation. [ as stated, these gods are living beings – arclein ]
Sumerian mythology claims that, in the beginning, human-like beings of extra-terrestrial origin ruled over Earth. Those beings, or gods, could travel through the sky in either round or rocket shaped vehicles. These beings toiled Earth’s soil, digging to make it habitable and mining its minerals.[ this describes the pre Pleistocene Nonconformity world of 12900
BP at least or more probably the world before the human fall from Eden which we can also date at around 45,000 BP – arclein ]

The texts mention that at some point the gods mutinied against their labour.

When the gods like men
Bore the work and suffered the toll
The toil of the gods was great,
The work was heavy, the distress was much.

Anu, the god of gods, agreed that their labour was too great. His son Enki, or Ea, proposed to create man to bear the labour, and so, with the help of his half-sister Ninki, he did. A god was put to death, and his body and blood was mixed with clay. From that material the first human being was created, in likeness to the gods.

You have slaughtered a god together
With his personality
I have removed your heavy work
I have imposed your toil on man.

In the clay god and Man
Shall be bound,
To a unity brought together;
So that to the end of days
The Flesh and the Soul
Which in a god have ripened –
That soul in a blood-kinship be bound.
[ Our problem is that this story is becoming more and more creditable rather than the more natural reverse.  The human DNA has been actively modified and boosted  for which evidence continues to mount.  This is as good a description of the process as one could creditably make to an uninformed human at the time and place.  Arclein]

It is interesting here to note that the spirit is connected to the body, as is the case in many other religions and myths.

This first man was created in Eden, a Sumerian word which means ‘flat terrain’. In the Epic of Gilgamesh, Eden is mentioned as the garden of the gods and is located somewhere in Mesopotamia between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.

Initially human beings were unable to reproduce on their own, but were later modified with the help of Enki and Ninki. Thus Adapa is created as a fully functional and independent human being. This ‘modification’ was done without the approval of Enki’s brother, Enlil, and a conflict between the gods begins. Enlil becomes the adversary of man, and the Sumerian tablet mentions that men served gods and went through much hardship and suffering.

Although not the exact creation story involving two trees in Eden, Adapa, with the help of Enki, ascends to Anu where he fails to answer a question about ‘the bread and water of life’. Opinions vary on the similarities between these two creation stories, but one thing remains clear: immortality is meant for gods, not for men.

Note: Ancient Sumerian translations were taken from William Bramley’s book, The Gods of Eden.
[ What we have here, besides ample support for a global Atlantean civilization, additional support for some time communication with the highly regarded progenitors who try to explain what is happening.  Just as Noah reads perfectly as a colonizing Ark landing a couple thousand newly produced agricultural humans coming in from a space habitat, this also reads perfectly as a non-human intervention to produce agricultural humanity.  Arclein ]

The Mysterious Didanum People

4 OCTOBER, 2013 - 08:40

One of the races mentioned in sacred texts, especially Bible texts are the Didanum People (or Ditanu or Tidanu), the precursors of the Nephilim and Rephaim going back to 3,000 BC. There are not many references to this race, however we will try to touch upon what is known about them.
Many already know about the Nephilim, the offspring of the ‘sons of Gods’ and the ‘daughters of men’, beings of gigantic size with incredible abilities and powers who are associated with the demi-gods of all different religions and mythologies. In the same category belong the Rephaim, who were also beings of enormous stature and powerful abilities, a generation of heroes. Furthermore, references to the Rephaim in the Bible, identify them as shades or spirits, giving another dimension to their existence as if they were able to interact or manifest at the same time in different realities.

In ancient texts, it seems that the Didanites are very closely related to the Rephaim, making them another race related to the ‘Gods’ of the past. In the Epic of Kret (Keret), a Canaanite Epic of the Bronze Age which is written in the Ugaritic language found on 3 clay tablets, God El (the father of Gods according to Canaanites, also identified with the Egyptian god Ptah) promises King Keret that the glory of his family is going to be restored. It mentions the assembly of the Ditanites, referring to the Didanum people. King Keret was a descendent of the Didanites and a ruler of the region around the mountain of the Amorites as well as Tidanum Mountain. The importance of the Didanum people was significant since the presence of the Council of the Didanites was required during the accession of the Kings. [ So far so completely tribal - arclein]

References to this text may also identify Amorites with the Didanums. Amorites (or Tidnum in Akkadian) were a group of people from ancient Syria who lived around 2,000-3,000 BC. The Syrian region Jebel Bishri is what they called the mountain of the Amorites. Whether Amorites just used the term Didanum or if they were the Didanum people is not known. Furthermore, in one Sumerian poem called the Descent of Inanna to the Netherworld, the Didanum people are referred to as an enemy of Inanna (Sumerian goddess of sexual love, fertility and warfare).

In other texts Didanites appear to be connected to Dedan who also happens to be an important God of the Nubians in Egypt. It is interesting to notice that Dedan was a descendant of Noah. [ implying ample non - descendants and a maximum thousand year time span since the end of Noah’s ‘dynasty’ which lasted about three to four thousand year due to long life spans – arclein ]

The people of Dedan were warned by the God that his wrath was going to fall upon them because Dedan questioned the motives of God, in the same way that all descendants of the Nephilim were executed by Joshua with the help of ‘God’ leaving no traces of them.

Concluding what we can say about the Didanum people is that they were gigantic people, probably descendants of the ‘Gods’ with great physical and mental power associated in some ways with the royal dynasties of the past. They were so important that their name has been used later on as a title for important royal people. What happened to them and how did they come to exist is unknown. But the important thing is that we have reference to another strange race of giants amongst humanity that suddenly disappeared.
